This page contains a few notes about KYPS account expiry and deletion.

Your KYPS account is automatically deleted after you have used your last remaining one-time code, or if you have not used your account for more than 180 days. However, you might want to manually delete your KYPS account at some point in time. Possible reasons for this include the following.

  • You have lost your one-time codes, and you are afraid that someone could find them and abuse them.
  • You do not need your KYPS account any more.
  • You would like to obtain new codes, but you still have unused codes left. In this case you should first delete your KYPS account, and then create a new one.

How to delete your KYPS account: Simply go to this page and provide your KYPS account deletion code. You will find this code at the bottom of your one-time code list and in the email you received at registration.

WHY KYPS ASKS FOR AN EMAIL ADDRESS AT REGISTRATION

It is important that you are able to manually delete your KYPS account for the (hopefully unlikely) case that you lose your one-time codes. Your KYPS account deletion code is therefore sent to the email address you provide at registration. It is important that you provide an email address which you can access when you register, and that you keep the email with your account deletion code for as long as your KYPS account is active. Note that KYPS does not send any sort of 'activation code' to the email address you provide; you may, therefore, provide any email address you like; it does not have to be related to the website of your KYPS account.

Note that, in accordance with its privacy policy, KYPS will not share your email address with, or disclose it to, any third parties.
