TROUBLESHOOTING

This page describes how to solve a number of difficulties that may arise when using KYPS. If you are experiencing a problem that is not described here please let us know about it.

When I try to register by providing an address for a login page, I receive the error "There was a problem with the address you provided." What does this mean?.

First of all, make sure that you have provided the address of a valid login page, and that you have provided the entire address. The best way to ensure this is by visiting the login page using your browser, and then copying and pasting the address from the address bar of your browser into the corresponding field in the registration form.

If you have done this correctly, and you still receive the error, then this can have many different reasons, including the following possible reasons.

  • KYPS has difficulties connecting to the indicated website.
  • The login page you indicated contains more than one login form.
  • The login form on the page you indicated is not currently supported by KYPS.
If you cannot register with KYPS due to this error, please send us an email so that we can ensure that the website you are interested in is supported.

My one-time codes are very long. Is it not possible to make them shorter?

The length of the one-time codes depends on the length of your password, and on the characters in your password. If you use a shorter password, then your one-time codes will become significantly shorter.
